摘要: This talk discusses an initial-boundary problem for a quasilinear chemotaxis system with indirect signal production, as arising in the modeling of effects due to phenotypical heterogeneity in microbial populations. Under the assumption that the rates D and S of diffusion and cross-diffusion are suitably regular functions of the population density, essentially exhibiting asymptotically algebraic behavior at large densities.  A critical line in low-dimensional cases and two critical lines in higher-dimensional cases concerning the exponents of D and S for the occurrence of blow-up were found. This is a recent joint work with Prof. Michael Winkler (Paderborn).


报告人简介:陶有山,上海交通大学太阳成集团tyc7111cc特聘教授,博士生导师,曾多次在美国俄亥俄州立大学和日本东京大学进行学术访问,研究方向为偏微分方程和生物数学。近几年主要研究来自于生物过程的趋化模型,在JEMSSIAMAnn. Inst. H. Poincaré Anal. Non LinéaireMath. Models Methods Appl. Sci.J. Nonlinear Sci.Inverse ProblemsJMBNonlinearityJDE等国际知名数学发表期刊论文100多篇,MR引用4000多次,10余篇论文入选ESI高被引论文。2018-2022年连续5年入选科睿唯安“全球高被引科学家”。现担任2份国际SCI期刊Nonlinear Analysis: Real World Applications EMS Surveys in Mathematical Sciences 的编委。主持国家基金及省部级项目10余项。
